We’re looking for a creative, organised and enthusiastic Brand & Marketing Assistant to join Boho Parasol Hut and work closely with our founder across the day-to-day running and continued growth of the brand.

This is a varied, hands-on role spanning marketing, social media, content, customer experience and general brand support. No two days are likely to look quite the same. You might be planning social content and developing ideas for an upcoming launch one day, then speaking with customers, helping coordinate a photoshoot or researching a potential collaboration the next.

We’re a small and growing business, so we’re looking for someone who genuinely wants to get involved. Someone with great ideas, excellent attention to detail and a strong visual eye, who can understand the Boho Parasol Hut aesthetic and bring their own creativity to it.

You’ll work closely with the founder, with the opportunity to contribute ideas and have a real influence on how the brand is presented and grows. While experience in marketing, content or a similar role would be valuable, we’re just as interested in finding someone with the right instinct, initiative and enthusiasm for the brand.

Working pattern: Part-time

Location: The role is primarily remote and can be based anywhere in the UK, with occasional travel required for photoshoots, events, meetings and other brand activity.

We’re looking for an experienced and talented seamstress to work with Boho Parasol Hut on a flexible basis, helping us create a growing range of beautifully made outdoor pieces.

The work will be varied, from parasol canopies and cushions to parasol covers, windbreaks and new product ideas, as well as occasional samples and one-off pieces as we develop new designs.

As a seasonal business, the amount of work will naturally vary throughout the year. There may be quieter periods when we have very little sewing required, followed by busier periods with a larger volume of work. We’re therefore looking for someone who would enjoy working with us on a flexible, project-by-project basis rather than set weekly hours.

You’ll need to be a confident and experienced machinist with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately from patterns, measurements and samples. Experience working with heavier-weight or outdoor fabrics would be particularly useful, although it isn’t essential if you’re comfortable working with a variety of materials.

The role will be home-based, so you’ll need to have a suitable space in which to work and store materials while completing projects. We’re happy to purchase or provide the specialist equipment needed for our work, so you don't necessarily need to own everything already.

As we’re a small and growing brand, there will also be opportunities to get involved in sampling and product development. We’d love to find someone who not only has excellent sewing skills, but enjoys problem-solving, trying new ideas and helping us work out the best way to bring new products to life.
